# About Movie List

A long time ago I started keeping a list of movies and TV series I've watched and would like to watch. Keeping track of all these movies and series in a Word document because cumbersome since now there are more than a thousand items (I watch a lot of movies). Thus I've decided to create an app so that the list can be more structured and so that I can analyze the data somehow. Also, this is a fun side project.

## Project Status

I've been working on this app since February 2019 and it's not nearly done. I've released versions 0.1 and 0.2, because now the app is at least usable, although it still lacks lots of features. Versions 0.x should be considered pre-release and as such probably shouldn't be used in general since there will be breaking changes.

I'm actively working on the app, although sometimes I take breaks to work on other projects, so expect more versions soon.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.cineaste.tolik.io/0.2/other/about.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
